Audio Design Associates (ADA) Cinema Rhapsody Mach IV & Suite 7.1 HD preamplifier/processors
ADA's latest home theater processors incorporate multiple HDMI 1.4 inputs and outputs, a choice of analog options and the latest home theater processing modes.
The latest home theater processors from ADA are now shipping. The company’s $5,800 Suite 7.1 HD and $7,800 Rhapsody Mach IV home theater processors incorporate HDMI 1.4, and the latest processing modes from Dolby and DTS.
Back when the latest revision of the HDMI format was first announced a case could be made that most people dismissed the new 1.4 updates. One of the newly included provisions however was its compatibility with 3D and since the announcement of HDMI 1.4, the electronics industry has seen 3D grow from a fad into a legitimate home theater option for consumers.
Keeping up with the latest electronics trends is New York-based Audio Design Associates (ADA). This past March the company started to ship its Cinema Rhapsody Mach IV and Suite 7.1 home theater preamplifiers/processors, which both incorporate eight HDMI 1.4 inputs and dual HDMI 1.4 outputs. ADA differentiates the products with subtle differences that include four analog stereo inputs on the Suite 7.1 HD with the the Mach four getting twice as many.
The Rhapsody also includes an eight-channel bypass input, record audio outputs and a secondary analog crossover that allows installers to set up speakers in a "large" mode while still utilizing bass content from those channels to sum with the LFE to the subwoofer. ADA offers the Rhapsody with an optional XLR input upgrade and analog video switching options.
