$200 ihiji INV-APP-500 Remote Monitoring Device Offers No Annual Fee
ihiji's INV-APP-500 aims to open the remote monitoring category for even small jobs with a price point of just $200 and no annual fee at the first tier.
Many integrators have not dived into offering remote monitoring devices because of the price-point barriers at installation and monthly/annually required from clients from this new category of equipment.
ihiji is trying to alter that perception by shipping its new INV-APP-500 remote monitoring device for just $200 with no annual fee for the first tier of the system.
ihiji says the price point is the lowest on the market for these cloud-based appliances that monitor the equipment in an installation and provide the integrator with a dashboard that helps them minimize service calls and make technicians more efficient in the field when a service call becomes necessary.
The INV-APP-500 boasts a starting price of $200 and is sold as part of the ihiji invision solution. When implemented, dealers are able to further reduce remote servicing costs while increasing system reliability, thereby earning recurring revenue and maximizing operating efficiencies.
Furthermore, ihiji’s annual services have been greatly reduced, and the first monitoring tier is free. Authorized ihiji dealers are able to offer both hardware and the first year of service for as low as $200, which is easily recouped by avoiding just one truck roll, says the company.
For your clients, the unit's low-power consumption can deliver $700 in annual energy cost savings per location when compared with traditional in-home server scenarios, says the company.
“With the introduction of our new INV-APP-500 appliance, dealers are able to implement robust and reliable remote monitoring and support services for a fraction of the price,” according to ihiji VP of technical operations, Michael Maniscalco. “Our goal is to enable dealers to own their customers’ network and doing so requires remote management. With ihiji invision’s cloud-based architecture, all of the heavy lifting is done on our servers, meaning dealers do not sacrifice features or reliability with the new low-cost appliance. Utilizing cloud services, dealers can offer the most reliable monitoring and support solutions available while keeping the costs of entry and ongoing maintenance as low as possible. We believe this approach to the category is more than a trend. It’s an emerging industry standard.”
