Providing dealers with a product designed for commercial applications, Bluesound Professional has introduced its B170S Streaming Amplifier.
The new stereo amplifier from Bluesound Professional will be available in September 2022 and the company says that its latest product combines a high-quality stereo low-impedance and constant voltage amplifier with its BluOS-enabled streaming platform.
According to Bluesound Professional, the low-impedance output of the B170S Streaming Amplifier supports usages where intelligibility and sound quality are important. Alternatively, the company continues, multi-speaker installations, including corridors and high-traffic areas can be served with the constant voltage option that allows for daisy-chained speakers to reduce cable lengths and complexity.
Bluesound Professional emphasizes that its new multizone stereo streaming amplifier offers streaming services such as SoundMachine, Custom Channels, SiriusXM for Business, QSIC and Tunify. The company also notes the B170S Streaming Amplifier can be controlled with the company’s companion BluOS Controller app, which is available for the PC, Mac, iOS and Android platforms.
The commercial audio manufacturer points out the stereo streaming amplifier provides a complete solution for dealers to meet a range of customer audio needs, and it integrates easily into users’ networks.
Bluesound Professional rates the B170S Streaming Amplifier to produce 80-watts per channel into 4- and 8-ohm loads. For other applications the B170 is rated to produce 100-watts per channel into 70-volt volts and it can be setup to deliver a single channel rating of 100 watts into 100 volts.
