Channel Vision 6521 IP Dome Camera

The new 6521 IP Dome Camera from Channel Vision can be used in a number of ways to provide residential and commercial property owners with a vandal-proof dome camera that's capable of producing HD video images.

If there is one category within the electronics market that’s nearly recession proof it’s the security channel. Helping to sustain the sales of security products and systems are devices like Channel Vision‘s new 6521 IP Dome Camera, which can be used by electronics professionals to add video surveillance to residential and commercial security system installations.

Channel Vision says the 6521 IP Dome Camera can produce a 720p HD image through the use of its 2 megapixel CMOS sensors, which have the capability to produce resolutions up to 1600 x 1200 pixels. The 6521 also incorporates H.264 compression technologies that enable the camera to use a minimum amount of bandwidth to produce HD video images.

To make the camera user friendly, Channel Vision also utilizes the latest networking technologies to allow the camera to send and receive audio and video to nearly any device, including 3G mobile phones. The camera works with both Windows- and Apple-based computer system, and it’s also designed and built to withstand vandalism. Other features include an 18-piece built-in LED illuminator that provides viewing distances up to 45 feet in complete darkness and a three-axis bracket that supports rotational angle adjustments.
