At CEDIA Expo 2019 the second generation Stormaudio line of products were introduced.
The new products include 16-, 20- and 32-channel analog preamplifier/processors, a digital AES-32 channel preamplifier/processor, and eight- and 16-channel amplifiers.
Stormaudio says the new products are designated “Mark2,” and the products will be available in “early 2020.”

Looking beyond the products’ updated industrial designs, the second generation Stormaudio processors and amps incorporate Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, Auro-3D, Dirac Live Room Calibration, and the company’s web-based remote monitoring tool called StormMonitoring.
Second Generation Stormaudio Products Support Latest AV Formats
Internally, the new processors utilize the company’s 7+2 eARC HDMI card to support HDMI 2.0b, as well as HDCP 2.2 and 18Gbps throughput.
Through the products’ 18Gbps bandwidth capabilities, the products deliver 4K, Dolby Vision, HDR10, Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC), and the ability to decode up to 24 channels of Dolby Atmos (13.1.10).
Stormaudio’s PA.8 Ultra Mk2 Class D amp provides eight channels rated to deliver 200 watts per channel or four channels x 800 watts operating in bridged mode.
The Class D PA.16 Mk2 is rated to deliver 200 watts into 8 ohms into each of its 16 channels.
