Destination Outdoors has grown from a relatively modest demonstration into a roughly half-acre experience designed to show outdoor technology under real-world conditions. This year, Coastal Source will expand its lighting demonstration with indoor living, patio and landscape environments highlighting the integration of Lutron control and Ketra lighting.
Coastal Source will also demonstrate its Power Source line-voltage component power system, 1000 Series outdoor speakers and UniConnect cabling system, along with multiple outdoor systems spanning different price points.
An exclusive CE Pro 100 event
Destination Outdoors will also serve as the setting for an exclusive Tuesday-night event honoring the CE Pro 100. DโAscanio said the smaller gathering will give CE Pro 100 dealers an opportunity for a deeper dive into the technology and outdoor experience before Coastal Sourceโs larger Wednesday happy hour.
Coastal Source has also consistently ranked highly in CE Proโs annual brand analysis among CE Pro 100 dealers for outdoor audio and lighting. DโAscanio said that recognition is particularly meaningful given the companyโs dealer-centric approach and longstanding focus on the custom integration channel.
The conversation also explores the broader opportunity for integrators to expand outdoor projects through lighting, audio and control, creating cohesive technology experiences that extend from inside the home into the surrounding property.
