Lexicon DD-8 Multi-Room Amplifier

Harman's Lexicon brand is well known in the pro audio and enthusiast consumer markets, and with the release of its new DD-8 Multi-Room Amplifier the company is looking to make the same type of impression with custom installers. Using its proprietary DriveCore technology that was co-developed with Texas Instruments, the amplifier is rated to deliver 125-watts to each of its eight channels. Harman High Performance A/V has issued new firmware updates addressing a number of feature requests made by owners of the Lexicon BD-30 Blu-Ray Player. The updates — which will be available automatically on enabled players or off the website for manual installation — are designed to add configuration flexibility through updated system components, and improve the component's playability for several upcoming new releases.
