Please see today's update (2/16) following the original story, which was posted yesterday. Feb. 15 -- SurgeX, a popular provider of power protection solutions for the custom installation channel, is now the exclusive distributor of Certified Cyber Solutions (CCS), maker of remote network management systems. For years SurgeX has developed and engineered power protection products for the commercial market. Now after dabbling in the residential channel, the company has fully committed to bringing its its commercial-grade technologies to the custom installation market through the release of its XU115 AC Surge Eliminator and Power Conditioner. Technically, SurgeX and Chief Manufacturing announced their strategic partnership during InfoComm 2010 in Las Vegas, but they clearly put their heads together beforehand. During the event, SurgeX talked about a bundled solution combining Chief’s line of Raxxess racks protected with SurgeX technology. Plus, two new rear mounted racks to free up space have been co-developed and one was on display in SurgeX’s booth.
