The year 2010 hasn’t been all bad for the CE Pro 100. More than half (59%) of the top integrators expect to do better this year than last. Nearly one-fourth (22%) of the CE Pro 100, however, expect to be down, including 18% of dealers who estimate revenues will decline by 20% or more. Some 19% of integrators will finish the year flat. There were no business-as-usual discussions at the CE Pro 100 Integrators Summit at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles. Dealers at the CE Pro 100 Summit last month were worn out by the time the final session was held at 3:00 p.m. on the last day. Did anyone really want to be there? It didn't matter, all sessions were mandatory. So they trudged into the room to find that the chairs were set up in four concentric circles. No wonder. The session was sponsored by SpeakerCraft.
