Atlantic Technology has signed an agreement with SpeakerCraft to collaborate in the development of new loudspeaker systems using Atlantic's H-PAS bass configuration technology. Through the application of H-PAS technology, SpeakerCraft will be able to provide its customers with loudspeakers that will deliver deeper and smoother bass in much smaller cabinets than was previously possible. The agreement will result in the development of several new SpeakerCraft products expected to come to market starting later this year and beyond. A couple of years ago the suburban Boston-based company Atlantic Technology played a trick on the assembled press corp during its CEDIA news conference by playing its then new set of speakers next to a subwoofer. Later during the press conference company president Peter Tribeman revealed that the sub was never on and the bass output from the system was reproduced by the small footprint floorstanding speakers that were on display. Atlantic Technology, a Massachusetts-based manufacturer of loudspeakers for home theater, music and in-wall applications, announced that the Nationwide Marketing Group and its Specialty Electronics Nationwide (SEN) division, has selected it as a new vendor partner.
