Power management and protection doesn’t seem to have the following in Europe as it does in the U.S. UK integrator Steve Moore said as much last year when we met with him at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2011. Morris Tait Associates, a manufacturer’s representative firm serving Southern California, Las Vegas and Arizona, announces the addition of two seasoned and respected industry sales representatives. In one of the most unique sales incentive programs in the industry, Panamax/Furman has announced it will pay its reps up to $500 toward their dues or education in the Independent Professional Representatives Organization (IPRO) if they hit their sales target. Is Panamax/Furman a power management company or a home-control firm? As it turns out, it’s a little of both. Recently the company earned a patent for the IR learning and transmission capabilities of its IR Control Link UPS products (below).
