Qualcomm CEO Paul Jacobs to Keynote 2010 CES

Other notable 2010 CES keynoters include Microsoft's Steve Ballmer, Ford's Alan Mulally, and Intel's Paul Otellini.

Dr. Paul E. Jacobs, chairman and CEO of Qualcomm, will deliver a keynote at 2010 CES, which takes place Jan. 7-10, 2010 in Las Vegas.

Jacobs will speak at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 8 in the Las Vegas Hilton Center. This will be Qualcomm’s first CES keynote.

“We are excited to welcome Paul to the 2010 CES keynote stage and look forward to hearing his plans for Qualcomm and the future of wireless technology,” says Gary Shapiro, president and CEO of the Consumer Electronics Association.

Best Buy Makes CES Debut

The big-box retailer will make its CES debut in Las Vegas on Jan. 7-10, 2010.

Other keynote speakers at 2010 CES include: Microsoft’s Steve Ballmer, Ford’s Alan Mulally, Intel’s Paul Otellini, Nokia’s Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo and Hisense’s Zhou Houjian.

Yahoo CEO Carol Bartz has dropped out as a keynoter.

As a reminder, Thiel Audio will be hosting a memorial for Jim Thiel on Thursday, Jan. 7, 2010 during CES.
