NuVision Adds 3 LCDs to Lucidium Series
Has FX5 technology to deliver images at 120Hz and 3 HDMI 1.3 inputs.
NuVision is adding three LCDs to its line of Lucidium Series Deep Black LCD HDTVs.
The NVU42FX5 (42 inches), NVU47FX5 (47 inches) and NVU52FX5 (52 inches) all feature NuVision's FX5 or "Film Times Five" technology.
This technology multiplies the native 24fps film rate five times to deliver the images at 120Hz.
The FX5 models also feature NuColor x.v. full 10-bit color path, NiDO IV Image processing and three HDMI 1.3 inputs.
Other technologies include: Digital Switching Deep Black that adjusts the backlight depending on what's on the screen, Deep Color Spectrum for a widened color array, and Frame Forward Motion to produce response rates up to 5ms.
The entire Lucidium line also has NuControl, which offers bi-directional RS-232, IR pass-thru to control other devices and IR input to control the TV.
NuVision, which didn't release pricing information, says the new LCDs will ship in Q4. NuVision will display the LCDs at its booth (950) at CEDIA Expo 2008.
