Peerless-AV, a leading designer and manufacturer of outdoor displays and TVs, is helping integrators and their customers get ready for nicer spring and summer days ahead. The Aurora, Ill.-based company has launched its Neptune Full Sun Outdoor Smart TVs, available in 55- and 65-inch models.

The new line of outdoor TVs is the latest release from Peerless-AV’s Neptune following the Partial Sun Series in 2022.

The Full Sun Series options also come with a free commercial-grade Outdoor Tilting Wall Mount ($199 value), to serve as an all-season solution for outdoor entertainment across North America, the company adds.

The Neptune TVs are designed with the signature maintenance-free construction of Peerless-AV display solutions and provide simple installations on patios, pool areas, backyards, restaurants, stadiums, and more, the company states.

Capable of producing 800 nits of light output for bright, and clear images even in direct sunlight, the all-weather certified Neptune Outdoor Smart TVs is said to have an operating temperature range of -22°F to 122°F (-30°C to 50°C).

Additionally, the outdoor-rated solution withstands environmental elements such as precipitation, snow, and debris for quality entertainment and longevity, Peerless-AV notes.

Equipped with high TNI panel technology to accommodate high ambient temperature conditions in direct sunlight, the commercial-grade Neptune Full Sun Series panel can handle high internal temperatures for longer periods of overall runtime, the company explains, whereas residential indoor LCD panels can’t withstand extended periods of sunlight or heat due to internal temperatures spiking and causing heat stress to the interior panel of the display.

Neptune Outdoor TVs offer 4K, full UHD resolution, with a high dynamic range for more realistic images, color, and higher contrast. The IPS panel ensures accurate image and color representation from every angle, while the anti-glare treatment eliminates unwanted reflections even in direct sun-viewing positions, Peerless-AV states.

This smart TV line is powered by partner LG’s webOS Hub, enabling users to bring their favorite content outside with hundreds of customizable apps available and content from several streaming services.

Via the LG ThinQ AI Home Dashboard, the new outdoor TVs allow for control of compatible connected IoT devices, such as smart home lights, appliances, and more.
