As the demand for instantaneous connectivity continues to grow, both businesses and homeowners will look for solutions to meet their need for speed.
Addressing the need for increased connectivity speed for a range of products, Pure Fi has introduced its USB Type-C AOC (active optical cable) product. The company states that its new USB Type-C AOC cable delivers connectivity speeds up to 40Gbps distances as far as 30 feet, and the product provides professional integrators with a connectivity solution that delivers high-speed connections for peripherals that are located far away from one another.
Pure Fi explains that its new cable provides integrators with a versatile product that also features bi-directional connectivity for a range of products that include legacy components and the latest USB4 and Thunderbolt 3 and 4 devices.
The Santa Clara, Calif.-based manufacturer also points out the Type-C AOC cable can be used in residential applications to support virtual reality (VR) connectivity where it is important for peripherals to be directly connected to computers. Pure Fi also notes that in professional environments, VR benefits from a seamless connectivity experience.
The Type-C AOC cable is available in a choice of of 3 meters (10 feet), 5 meters (15 feet) and 10 meters (30 feet) lengths.
