The attendance for CEDIA Expo 2025, held September 3-6 in Denver, are officially in. According to numbers released by Emerald, the combined CEDIA Expo/CIX brought together nearly 14,000 registered attendees and 400 brands for its 2025 outing.
The four-day event featured a wide-ranging schedule with over 250 education sessions across the CEDIA Education conference and Smart Stage, manufacturer product trainings (MPTs), and a keynote from HGTV’s Chip Wade.

Summarizing the atmosphere, Emerald (owner of CEDIA Expo and CE Pro) was one of optimism and innovation, with exhibitors scanning over 75,000 attendee leads, connecting with an influential audience where 84% of attendees have buying power. The 2025 CEDIA Expo also attracted a diverse group, including 30% first-time participants and a double-digit increase in design-build professionals in attendance.

He added, “We’ve received overwhelmingly positive feedback from exhibitors, who were impressed by both the caliber of our audience and the overall quality of this year’s show.”
Highlights from the CEDIA Expo/CIX Show Floor
The CEDIA Expo 2025 Smart Stage sessions explored topics such as smart home technology, AI, sustainability, and outdoor entertainment with interactive discussions and thought leadership. In addition, the show featured the Women in Consumer Technology (WiCT) Luncheon, and a CEDIA Town Hall with Daryl Friedman, global president & CEO of CEDIA, and Bill Darcy, global president & CEO of NKBA, where they shared the results of a new joint market research study on the state of technology integration in home design.
At the Destination Outdoors exhibit across from the convention center attendees were able to experience the latest outdoor products and technologies, highlighted by a packed happy hour. The debut of the new podcasting studio inside a brand-new VW ID.
Buzz in the convention center lobby drew significant interest and facilitated fresh conversations among industry leaders. CEDIA Expo/CIX also featured an extensive list of new products being launched exclusively at CEDIA Expo/CIX 2025; this, along with the lineup of sessions, Emerald officials note, offered a unique experience to attendees. The show’s success has already translated into strong commitments for the next event, with a 15% increase in returning exhibitor booked space for 2026.
