RTI is now shipping two new Cool Power amplifiers, the 4-channel CP-450 and 16-channel CP-1650. Both promise a little extra power, making each one perfect for a larger install. RTI doesn’t want each one to work alone, so these amps do pair nicely with RTI’s 8-zone AD-8 distributed audio system. Both have the same Cool Power technology used by the AD-8’s built-in class D amplifier. Adding in one of the new amps can boost that system another 50 watts per channel to extend speaker outputs in larger installations. The CP-1650… View this story

As much as Apple's competitors may try they've been unable to supplant the Cupertinio, California-based company as the top mobile music player manufacturer. Remote Technologies Inc.'s (RTI) new RTiDock provides the millions of Apple iPod owning homeowners a solution that controls and syncs their iPod with their entire iTunes library. RTI says its new dock provides installers with the ability to sync with iTunes over a network and it provides full control and navigation capabilities through a video display. When Philips Pronto died its final death, one of the brand’s biggest distributors turned to Remote Technologies Inc.(RTI) “Life is all about evolution and proactivity,” said Philippe Loupias of France-based distributor Pilote Films. “We have already moved to RTI.” During the recent Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) in Amsterdam, RTI was poised to take over former Pronto dealers, duking it out with Control4, URC and others vying for the remote control business once dominated by Philips. Pronto was perhaps best known for its large number of two-way drivers for both the… View this story

Count Remote Technologies Inc. (RTI) among the automation companies looking to broaden its image. Once thought of as a pure residential control manufacturer -- perhaps with a twist of commercial application -- it has really embraced commercial during 2010 and is going to market as a residential and commercial company. It even hired a commercial market general manager in June, Brian van der Hagen, to head up the pro division. Van der Hagen, who came from AMX where he also focused on the commercial market, talked to CE Pro about… View this story
