WiiM has just introduced its first ever speakers and subs (Wiim Sound and Wiim Sub Pro) alongside what it’s calling the company’s strongest streaming amp to date: the Wiim Amp Ultra. Housed in an aluminum chassis and featuring a 3.5-inch glass-covered touchscreen, the WiiM Amp Ultra delivers 200-watts per channel at 4 ohms.

The company states that its new amp is designed around the continued feedback of the WiiM community, and it notes the amp builds on the streaming power users loved in the Amp Pro. The Wiim Amp Ultra is said to reinforce the company’s mission to expand its ecosystem with more ways to personalize, connect, and power immersive multi-room audio experiences.

“The WiiM Amp Ultra reflects the voice of our community,” says Dr. Lifeng Zhao, CEO of WiiM. “Our users wanted more power, refinement, and connectivity, without losing the high-fidelity audio, and we listened. This amplifier was designed for discerning listeners who want to elevate their setups with precision, clarity, and smarter connectivity.”

Wiim Amp Ultra Delivers 100-Watts of Amplification

Like all WiiM products, the Wiim Amp Ultra connects seamlessly through the WiiM Home App, enabling whole-home audio control, automatic room correction, multiroom grouping, and access to dozens of streaming platforms. Homeowners can control the amplifier from the app, voice assistants, or with the WiiM Voice Remote 2, which is included with the Amp Ultra.  The company also supports the amp with regular firmware updates to help ensure the amp stays future-ready with new features and improvements over time.

The Wiim Amp Ultra is capable of powering up to four passive speakers to allow the amp to create immersive sound in one large room or across multiple zones in the home. Whether connecting to a TV for theater-quality audio, streaming playlists during a dinner party, or upgrading classic stereo gear, the Amp Ultra supports a range of smart home applications.

Summing up the amp’s features, the company’s latest amplifier delivers 100-watts into an 8-ohm load, it provides homeowners features such as Dolby Digital decoding, HDMI with ARC, a 32-bit/384kHz ESS ES9039Q2M SABRE DAC (digital-to-analog converter), Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and 10-band graphic and parametric equalization options.

The Wiim Amp Ultra Also also provides smart home functionality including Google Cast, Alexa Cast, DLNA, Spotify Connect, and TIDAL Connect, with seamless access to top music services like Spotify, Amazon Music, TIDAL, Qobuz, and Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa voice control.

Wiim Sound Cashes in on Company’s High-Resolution Streaming Capabilities

According to the company, after years of delivering award-winning streamers and amplifiers, and listening to what its community looked for in their setup, it designed two new products to fill the gaps and elevate the home listening experience. The WiiM Sound is a high-resolution smart speaker with a touchscreen display, high-fidelity streaming support, and built-in room correction, designed to deliver high-quality sound in a compact form. The WiiM Sub Pro, a 250-watt subwoofer that provides auto room correction and wired or wireless system connectivity.

“With the launch of WiiM Sound and WiiM Sub Pro, we’re filling a major gap in the market where high-fidelity audio, multi-room connectivity, user-friendliness and affordability rarely meet,” comments Zhao. “These new categories bring us closer to realizing our vision of delivering high-quality, flexible, whole-home sound systems that anyone can access and enjoy.”

Wiim boasts its new Sound product is compact, powerful speaker that blends seamlessly into any home. The smart speaker delivers 100 watts of power to a 4-inch woofer and dual-balanced mode radiator tweeters. The Wiim Sound also supports up to 24-bit/192 kHz high-resolution streaming across all types of content.

The company also suggests that dealers can add multiple WiiM Sound speakers throughout a home to create a complete whole-house audio system controlled through the WiiM Home App or by asking Google or Alexa. Homeowners can also control playback directly via the 1.8-inch, high-resolution touchscreen.

Wiim Sub Pro Has Systems Covered from 25 – 200Hz

Rounding out the Wiim Ultra Amp and Wiim Sound product introductions is the Wiim Sub Pro.

The 250-watt subwoofer is designed to offer homeowners controlled bass in a solution that provides a modern and sleek look through its glossy finish. Engineered with an 8-inch driver and Class-D amplifier, the sub is specified to deliver a frequency range from 25Hz to 200Hz. The Sub Pro also includes automatic room correction, an RCA input for flexible connectivity, and the sub supports audio streaming via WiFi or Bluetooth through the WiiM Home App.
