Wall-Smart Showcasing New Flush-Mount Smarts at CEDIA Expo 2024

ASCENDO Debuts DIRECTOR LED Loudspeaker System Designed for Video Walls
The European manufacturer points out that LED video walls, increasingly popular in residential media systems, pose audio challenges because speakers can’t be placed directly behind the acoustically transparent screen as in many home theater setups. ASCENDO’s DIRECTOR is a patent-pending solution that are designed to offer high levels of performance from a flush-mount, in-ceiling speaker used as part of a larger ASCENDO immersive audio system.
AiSPIRE to Demo New Dim-to-Warm Technologies at CEDIA Expo 2024
The latest addition to the AiSPIRE/WAC Astro Micro family hones in on the popular Dim-To-Warm features that allows LEDs to express ranges from 3000K to 1800K as they dim, mimicking the dimming effect of incandescent for added atmosphere. WAC/AiSPIRE explains that by mimicking an incandescent lamp’s dimming appearance, the fixture can shift color temperatures and create a visually comfortable and innately familiar experience while still benefitting from the energy savings and long life of LEDs while delivering up to 900 lumens at full brightness.
Trinnov WaveForming Now Publicly Available
Trinnov Audio is making its WaveForming room optimization technology publicly available on its Altitude line of audio processors, allowing audio professionals and enthusiasts to improve bass performance and consistency across the listening space.
CEDIA Expo 2024 attendees can experience WaveForming in person at a live demonstration in the Trinnov Booth #2938.
Stealth Acoustics L-RAD and SPT Lines Reappear to Disappear
The redesigned L-RAD speakers feature new internal components, an integrated acoustically tuned back box, and are built with a focus on quality craftsmanship. Made in the U.S., these speakers are incorporate a design aimed at setting new standards for invisible audio solutions.
In addition to the L-RAD series, Stealth Acoustics will also display the SPT Extreme model LED TV system. The SPT series is designed for outdoor cinematic entertainment in residential and commercial spaces. The SPT Extreme model includes a fully retractable, large-format LED screen with a 16:9 aspect ratio, housed in a weather-resistant enclosure. It also integrates the company’s outdoor speaker and amplifier technologies.
Vanco PulseAudio PAEXEARC Transmits HDMI eARC Signals 328 Feet
Vanco International LLC., a manufacturer of AV distribution and electronic accessory products, has announced the PulseAudio PAEXEARC Digital Audio Extender with eARC.
The PAEXEARC begins shipping in early September 2024. Like all Vanco products, this extender is 100% QC-tested in Vanco’s North American headquarters and backed by Vanco’s customer service and warranty programs. Integrators attending CEDIA Expo 2024 can see PAEXEARC in Booth #1523.
AiSPiRE to Launch DMX to ELV Dimming Controller at CEDIA Expo
The A2C01 dimming controller bridges the popular DMX control protocol to analog lighting fixtures that use ELV dimmers and is mountable to electrical junction boxes. It can be remotely wired to individual or groups of fixtures for customizable lighting scenes, the company says.
A Built-in Remote Device Management enables controller configuration and single-channel DMX address setting, enhancing convenience and project flexibility. The controller also allows installers to adjust the dimming curve, allowing them to customize the lighting experience to their client’s preferences.
VENTRIX is a Modular Lighting System for High-End Architectural Applications
VENTRIX (which is replacing the old WAC-STRUT line) is a set architectural lighting solutions that offer a matrix of adaptable grid and linear options for any high-end space. The new modular linear lighting platform the company explains, is the result of its research and development (R&D) team developing further iterations and expanding its product portfolio to help dealers provide their clients with imaginative architectural lighting system that stand out.
