At the recently completed CEDIA Expo/CIX 2025 show, LEA Professional’s components could be found throughout the show floor of the Colorado Convention Center. The show brought in thousands of visitors to the Mile High City, with attendees at the show being given a glimpse into LEA Professional’s technology catalog that features intelligent IT solutions, industry-leading DSP and smart power management.
A Prelim on the LEA Connect Series of Amps
LEA Professional points out that today’s homeowners want immersive audio throughout the home, from outdoor entertainment spaces and dedicated theaters to multi-room distributed systems. Addressing these trends, LEA Professional’s Connect Series amplifiers, engineered initially for demanding commercial environments, now bring professional-grade performance to residential projects. Available in half-rack and 1U models with 2-, 4-, and 8-channel configurations, these smart amplifiers are designed to deliver powerful, reliable audio while saving space in the rack.
The company explains the Connect Series is designed to simplify installation and give integrators more flexibility. Each amplifier features advanced 96kHz DSP (digital signal processing), over 3,000 preloaded speaker tunings, and the product line supports Lo-Z/Hi-Z speaker loads, selectable by channel, for mixed system designs. The company continues by noting with LEA Cloud integrators gain secure remote control, real-time monitoring, and remote firmware update capabilities, making system management more efficient for both integrators.
LEA Professional emphasizes that to further aid the integration into today’s smart homes, LEA amplifiers also include open API support and compatibility with control systems such as Crestron and Control4. Combined with LEA’s full suite of intelligent IT solutions, smart power management features, and DSPs, the Connect Series offers dealers a foundation for scalable, reliable residential audio.
