DMF Lighting’s presence at CEDIA Expo/CIX 2025 underscored its commitment to advancing digital lighting technology and strengthening relationships within the integrator community. The event provided a unique opportunity for DMF to engage with the professionals who specify, install, and commission their solutions, while also gathering valuable insights to inform future innovations.
“CEDIA Expo/CIX is where DMF Lighting has the most meaningful conversations with the integrator community in one place,” said Mike Libman, Sales Vice President, Custom Integrators at DMF Lighting. “It’s not just about showing products; it’s about showing intent. This is where we demonstrate our commitment to the technology integration channel, gather unfiltered feedback from the field, and have real, technical conversations about where lighting is headed in residential luxury projects.”
Advancing Digital Lighting
At the event, DMF Lighting showcased significant advancements in its Artafex platform, including Artafex PhaseX and Artafex Linear, both of which earned industry recognition. These innovations represent a leap forward in digital lighting, making advanced solutions more accessible and easier to implement.
Artafex PhaseX, a digital lighting platform that delivers tunable white and ultra-smooth 0.1% dimming over standard two-wire Romex, eliminates the need for specialty wiring. “It fundamentally changes what’s possible in residential lighting,” Libman explained, emphasizing how the platform simplifies installation while offering integrators precision control and scalability.
Artafex Linear extended the same digital performance into a modular linear format, allowing integrators to deploy tunable white recessed and linear fixtures on a single gateway. “Integrators can now deploy tunable white recessed and linear fixtures on a single gateway, with consistent color matching and simplified commissioning,” Libman said. This unified approach resonated strongly with attendees, reinforcing DMF’s mission to simplify advanced lighting solutions.
“The impact comes down to this: we’re making advanced digital lighting more accessible, easier to specify, easier to install, and easier to retrofit,” Libman added. The recognition these products received validated DMF’s focus on innovation and integrator-friendly solutions.
A Unique Opportunity for Engagement
For DMF Lighting, CEDIA Expo 2025 provided a rare opportunity to connect with the full ecosystem of residential technology professionals. “The conversations here are highly technical and highly practical,” Libman noted. “Attendees aren’t just browsing; they’re actively solving problems, comparing approaches, and planning upcoming projects.”
This depth of engagement is critical for a brand like DMF, where trust, education, and technical credibility are as important as product visibility. The ability to demonstrate products firsthand, answer detailed questions, and connect features to real-world applications accelerates relationships and builds confidence. “These in-person interactions accelerate relationships that might otherwise take months to develop remotely,” Libman said.
Connection and Insight That Drive Innovation
The value of these interactions extends well beyond the event itself. According to Libman, the insights gathered during these conversations directly influence DMF’s product development and go-to-market strategies. “Time and again, integrators confirm that DMF’s focus on digital lighting, simplified commissioning, and open integration aligns with where their businesses are headed,” he said. This feedback, combined with strong repeat engagement from returning partners, reinforces DMF’s approach to innovation and collaboration.
As DMF Lighting continues to expand its Artafex digital lighting ecosystem, the company is preparing to introduce new solutions that further simplify and enhance residential lighting. Among the upcoming innovations are Artafex 1, a one-inch architectural downlight designed for whole-home applications, and the new PhaseX Gateway with Ethernet, which simplifies system architecture and lowers hardware costs.
“CEDIA Expo/CIX anchors our annual calendar as a moment where product innovation, brand storytelling, and sales engagement come together,” Libman said. “The event supports everything from product launches and media outreach to dealer education and relationship building.”
For DMF Lighting, the ability to connect directly with integrators, designers, and other partners remains a cornerstone of its strategy. “In-person interaction builds trust faster than any spec sheet or datasheet ever could,” Libman said. “These interactions humanize the brand and create confidence that carries forward long after the event ends.”
By focusing on innovation, collaboration, and integrator-friendly solutions, DMF Lighting continues to shape the future of residential lighting, ensuring its products and approach align with the evolving needs of the industry.
