D-Tools and OneVision are announcing a new incentive program and platform integration between the two companies.
What’s the Goal of the Program?
According to the two companies, the program is aimed at helping integrators scale up their services through recurring revenue models by reducing both the financial and operation barriers associated with growth in those areas.
“Most integrators want to offer better service, but the leap can feel intimidating when teams are already stretched thin,” says Joey Kolchinsky, CEO of OneVision.
The Details for Integrators
As part of the program, D-Tools Cloud customers who enroll in OneVision’s premium 24/7 support platform are eligible for up to $500 in account credits.
Users who join OneVision’s Accelerate tier receive a $250 credit after onboarding, with the amount increasing to $500 for those who register for and attend the D-Tools User Conference, though, the enhanced incentive will only be available through March 31, 2026.
What’s Available Through OneVision’s Integration on D-Tools Cloud
With the OneVision integration, D-Tools Cloud customers will gain enhanced functionality transferring workflows from Cloud to OneVision’s ProVision service platform.
Cloud users will be able to import proposal, client, and site data directly from D-Tools Cloud into ProVision, akin to prior integrations with platforms like Portal.io. Once imported, ProVision’s AI-powered tools then analyze proposal data and can suggest standardized service documentation, eliminating the need for manual reentry of information, and ideally reducing documentation gaps.
The companies point out that new approach to workflow should also enable non-technical service coordinators to help transition completed projects into active service, limiting reliance on technicians who were deeply involved in the original install.
The Quest for Easier Service-Based Business Models
Service-based business models continue to be one of the holy grails of custom integration, as those who have managed to make the jump are reaping the benefits, though the prospect remains elusive for many.
Historically, custom integration has operated as a product-driven business, though even as the industry enters into more service-based models, the retraining of personnel to deal with selling and supporting this new avenue of business serves as a road bump for many.
Challenges in scalability also impact smaller firms where the ability to appropriately support 24/7 managed services can sometimes involve a level of personnel investment that these companies cannot afford with businesses like OneVision offering their own support staff as an intermediary fix.
Availability of the OneVision x D-Tools Integration for Customers
The integration is available now to all OneVision and D-Tools customers as well as the incentive program.
