The winners of the 2024 CE Pro Home of the Year awards have been announced. After weeks of deliberation by our panel of expert judges across the custom integration industry, we’ve tallied the votes, and we’ll say it right here: competition was fierce this year, with one of the categories even resulting in a tie between competitors.
In total, the awards saw 68 entrants across 18 categories, with the winners being celebrated at a ceremony in Denver, Colorado during CEDIA Expo 2024, and with categories like Best New Technologies Project, Best Lighting Control Project, and the ever-popular Home Theater and Smart Home project categories, there were plenty of unique and innovative designs on display.
Being judged on the basis of the ability to overcome challenges, uniqueness, scope, and design, these projects represent the best the industry has to offer and in many ways serve as a mileage marker for how far the industry has come since its humble beginnings.
Once again this year, the awards entries were judged by a panel that included Lew Brown, David Kaplan, and Avi Rosenthal of custom industry business consulting firm Bluesalve Partners, as well as D-Tools’ Jason Knott, former editor of CE Pro; and CE Pro editors Arlen Schweiger, Robert Archer, Zachary Comeau, and Nick Boever.
So, for those of you who weren’t able to attend, let’s raise a glass, as we always do, to some of the best the custom integration channel has to offer, and be sure to stay tuned as we upload the full details of these projects to the website.
