Nice has appointed Mohamed Ali Vaid as CEO of Nice North America, effective immediately. Vaid will lead the company’s strategic initiatives and growth efforts across the region.
Vaid brings more than two decades of leadership experience from global companies including General Electric, Toyota, United Technologies, and most recently Dematic, where he served as Senior Vice President. At Dematic, he held P&L responsibility for the Americas Business Solutions region and led the launch of innovative solutions that contributed to record-breaking sales growth. His leadership also drove operational improvements that enhanced scalability during what the company describes as its fastest growth period.

“We are thrilled to welcome Mohamed to Nice,” said Juan B. Mogollon, Nice Group CEO. “North America is a strategic market for the company, and Mohamed’s strong operational expertise, strategic vision, and commitment to innovation make him the ideal leader to guide Nice through its next phase of growth and market expansion.”
“I am honored to join Nice and lead such a talented team,” said Mohamed. “Our partners are at the heart of everything we do, and I’m excited to build on our global leadership in smart home and building automation to deliver even greater value for our partners. By strengthening our collaboration, accelerating innovation, and listening closely to the needs of our partner community, I’m confident we’ll continue to grow with purpose and momentum.”
Vaid’s background in automation, robotics, and smart technologies is expected to help drive innovation and customer value for Nice’s North American partners.
It’s currently unclear what happened to Emanuel Bertolini, the former CEO of Nice North America, who was named to the position in August 2023. The company’s announcement of Vaid’s appointment made no mention of Bertolini. According to his LinkedIn page, he served in that capacity until this month.
