A new lighting design firm has announced its entry into the CI channel. Founded by Lynne Stambouly, Bruce Clark, and Curtis Searles, Illuminated Lighting Design (ILDS) will be operating out of Fort Myers Florida and plans to partner with integrators, architects, builders and designers both locally and nationally for developing and delivering lighting systems that are “personal, purposeful and practical.”

“We created ILDS to provide a higher standard of service, one where design, specification, project management, and client experience are handled with the professionalism and precision our integration partners deserve,” notes Stambouly, Principal Founder of ILDS.

Stambouly brings almost four decades of client-facing expertise, having occupied roles in sales, design, product procurement and project management throughout the lighting industry. At ILDS, she now hopes to deliver lighting design that is rooted in both artistic and functional wisdom.

Design Principal, Clark hails from the custom integration space and adds his technically innovative background in lighting design to the team. He has presented at multiple conferences across the space, including Lightapalooza and the recently concluded Oasys and Azione conferences in Indy and regularly works with integrators on lighting projects.

“We recognized a real need for a firm that can be counted on to support integrators, builders, architects, and designers in a way that not only elevates their projects but also makes their jobs easier,” added Bruce Clark, Design Principal.

Their associate, Searles, Managing Principal, has worked in the construction and lighting industries for nearly twenty-five years, developing a reputation among his peers for timeliness and execution on projects.

“Our goal is simple but powerful: to remove the guesswork and frustration from lighting design and deliver solutions that exceed expectations,” says Searles. “We work hand-in-hand with integration firms, fellow designers, the trades and project clients to ensure that lighting is not just a finishing touch, but a foundational element that contributes to the successful execution of any space.”
