Coastal Source, a U.S.-based designer and manufacturer of high-performance outdoor audio systems, has announced a significant milestone in its longstanding collaboration with Powersoft S.p.A. (“Powersoft”), a global developer of professional audio amplification, signal processing, and transducer technology listed on Euronext Growth Milan.
This strategic OEM agreement marks the next phase of a multi-year partnership focused on developing a purpose-built amplifier platform tailored specifically for Coastal Source. Leveraging Powersoft’s advanced technologies, the new amplifier lineup is engineered to deliver high levels of performance in the harshest outdoor environments. The product line is said to combine superior power management, durable construction, and seamless AES67 network integration, and the collaboration underscores both companies’ commitment to innovation, reliability, and premium performance.

Coastal Source notes that at the heart of the new amplifier lineup are eight custom amplifier models. Historically, Powersoft amplifiers, Coastal Source continues, are known for efficiency, durability, and advanced power management — qualities that align seamlessly with Coastal Source’s standards for outdoor installations, where moisture, salt air, and temperature extremes are constant challenges.
