In booth #C1308 at CEDIA Expo 2023, in Denver, Colorado., from Sept. 7-9, the Italian consumer and professional audio company K-array will be performing hands-on demonstrations.

Applying its extensive experience in the commercial sound reinforcement market, K-array is set to demonstrate the sound quality and durability its products can provide integrators addressing residential and commercial outdoor audio, as well as indoor commercial and residential audio that includes home theater.

During the annual trade event, integrators can stop by the company’s booth and see a range of products that include:

The redesigned Lyzard Mark II loudspeakers from K-array are said to combine premium audio and design with extreme miniaturized housings to create a product naturally designed for discreet use in a variety of intimate environments such as patio settings, outdoor kitchens, balconies, rooftop decks, firepits, and cabanas.  The Italian audio company points out the Lyzard Mark II is no bigger than a chocolate bar and it weighs less than a pound.

K-array continues, the micro-loudspeaker range offers integrators a choice of the Lyzard-KZ1 I and Lyzard-KZ14 I models, and these products provide a new magnetic snap on/off grille for a pure, minimalist aesthetic to make integration even easier. For outdoor applications that require the audio to be completely invisible, the KZ1 I and KZ14 I recessed versions fit seamlessly for flush mounting installations.

Housed in a resistant 2-inch aluminum frame and also updated with a recessed feature for optimal mounting, the Vyper Mark II loudspeakers will also be featured in the company’s booth. K-array asserts the Vyper-KV25 II complements environments such as a private cabana, pool area, or outdoor kitchen.

Moving up in size, the Vyper-KV52 II has a peak SPL of 114 dB and selectable impedance, letting integrators select a resistance that suits their client’s specific system and listening preferences. K-array explains that through the speakers’ top-to-bottom pass-through connector system, integrators can combine multiple Vypers into a line of sound to address environments where outdoor entertainment is paramount such as in dining areas, patios, and rooftop decks.

According to K-array, despite being the largest speaker in the line, the Vyper-KV102 II is visually discreet enough to peak at 120 dB and still ensure focused sound near the listening field and at a distance.

K-array Lyzard Mark II, Vyper Mark II Stand Up to the Elements

Addressing whole-house audio, systems, K-array’s Tornado-KT2 and KT2C point source loudspeakers are carved entirely from a single metal block that feature a neodymium magnet structure and a suspension engineered for maximum linear excursion. The KT2 also has a wide operating frequency range with low distortion. The speakers also come with wall brackets for fixed installations on flat surfaces such as a pergola, or fence post. Additionally, the company offers a recessed model—the KT2C in-ceiling speaker. K-array states that integrators can use this model for installations where there is no option to compromise on aesthetics.

Engineered to hide from sight without compromising on high-quality audio performance, the IP64 rated Rumble line of subwoofers are made entirely of steel to Make the subwoofers resistant to a range of tough weather conditions when deployed outdoors.

K-array notes the subs vary in size, and the Rumble-KU26, KU210, and KU212 offer integrators companion low-frequency solutions for the Lyzard, Vyper, and Tornado speakers with the added benefit of delivering a virtually invisible profile.

The Tuscany-based manufacturer adds the Lyzard-KZ14 and KZ1 speakers are IP64 rated, while the Tornado-KT2 and Vyper are IP65 rated.

Moreover, the K-array Rumble series of subwoofers are IP64 rated, and integrators can customize the finishes of these speakers and subwoofers to seamlessly integrate into any indoor or outdoor environment to make them a versatile choice for any residential or professional setting.

Earlier this year at ISE 2023, K-array debuted the latest version of its lighting/audio solution KSCAPE Rail. At that same show, K-array also highlighted a solution comprised of its K-array, KGEAR, and KSCAPE brands under its Sound Business Unit umbrella.
