Bang & Olufsen has just announced the introduction of its Atelier Limited Edition Art Deco, a system that it boasts, reimagines the brand’s Beolab 28 speakers and Beovision Theatre through the lens of Art Deco, which was the defining aesthetic of the 1920s and the decade of its founding.
The Atelier Limited Edition Art Deco system is limited to just 100 units globally, and B&O points out that with this product release, it is marking a rare convergence of performance that pays homage to a century of design acoustic craftsmanship.
Crafted from dark rosewood and anodized in chestnut aluminum, the system showcases alternating lamella panels in tapered wood and straight aluminum toย evoke the rhythmic facade of classic Art Deco architecture the company suggests. A matching rosewood case handcrafted at Bang & Olufsen’s headquarters in Struer houses the engraved Beoremote, finished in chestnut aluminum and certificates of authenticity. The aluminum surfaces, B&O continues, feature a precision-etched geometric motif blending modern machining with classic ornamentation. Hidden within the pattern, 100 engraved strokes subtly commemorate each year of Bang & Olufsen’s legacy.
Bang & Olufsen asserts the products’ attention to detail and tactility continues with Beosound Theatre’s newly introduced wooden top cover, sculpted in a radial pattern inspired by Art Deco sunburst motifs. Beyond its visual elegance, B&O adds the cover enhances acoustic transparency, exemplifying its commitment to harmonizing form and function.
