Helping support integrators’ ability to retrofit commercial environments with advanced lighting control, Lutron has introduced its Athena Wireless Processor.
Augmenting its Athena series of products, the company says the new wireless processor provides integrators with a smaller footprint solution that integrates into a variety of environments, and it can also be used to support a wide range of project sizes. Lutron explains that integrators can also use the Athena wireless processor as a lighting control solution in businesses as diverse as boutique retail shops to large office spaces, and the solution provides Ketra lighting compatibility for additional system flexibility.
The Penn.-based lighting solution manufacturer also emphasizes that because of the unit’s advanced technologies, the Athena Wireless Lighting Processor does not require a separate lighting panel or hub. The wireless device through its wireless capabilities and software compatibility is able to communicate with lighting and shades products for seamless, instant control.
Lutron also points out that because of the unit’s small size it blends unobtrusively into interior settings without disrupting the aesthetics of a room environment
The company adds that because the unit is part of the Athena family of lighting products, the wireless lighting processor provides professional integrators with the Athena Dashboard, which is a software solution that delivers analytical data such as occupancy and energy statistics in reports that are designed to be easy to read.
