Hisense is launching its new U8K series of Mini-LED TVs, which the company calls a step up from its recently released U6K series of mini-LED technology.
According to Hisense, the U8K series features Quantum Dot technology, double the local dimming zones as the U6K, a major audio enhancement with 50W 2.1.2 channel sound, Wi-Fi 6e, Google TV and other features.
Hisense’s U8K series will come in sizes ranging from 55 inches to 85 inches, with the 86-inch model coming soon.
The company says the U8K has up to 1,000 local dimming ones to bring vibrant colors and better contrast, as well as future-proofing features such as NextGEN TV for free, live-over-the-air broadcast content in 4K HDR and Dolby audio. In addition, the 144Hz AGLR panel for 55-inch to 5-inch models ensures smooth gaming performance, the company says.
Hisense also touts the Wi-Fi 6e capability, saying it brings uninterrupted streaming since it won’t be competing with other devices on the network.
In addition, the U8K features ani-glare and a low-reflection screen, the company says.
The available TVs in the U8K line today include a 55-inch, 65-inch, and 75-inch model.
