Vervent Audio Group (VVAG), the parent company to audio companies Focal and Naim, has officially acquired Audio Plus Services & Plurison

With the addition of Audio Plus Services & Plurison, Vervent Audio Group is looking to further establishing itself in the North American audio market by creating two new North American subsidiaries: Focal Naim America and Focal Naim Canada.

The brand subsidiaries signal a new investment phase and direction for Vervent in the US and Canada, driven by the desire to work more closely with its retailers.

By creating its own distribution entity, Vervent says it is striving to turn North America into the market leader for Focal and Naim.

Daniel Jacques, founder of Audio Plus Services & Plurison, will lead both Focal Naim America and Focal Naim Canada as president. Under his leadership, Focal Naim America and Focal Naim Canada will strive to double sales over the next five years.

Focal has been an established brand in the custom integration market for decades and is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. Similarly, Naim recently celebrated its 45th anniversary.

Recent products from Focal include its CI-Fi range of architectural loudspeakers and its Electra IW1002 2-way in-wall speakers.

Meanwhile, Naim has recently made a splash in the CE market with its Uniti Atom All-in-One Wireless Music Player, which CE Pro editor Bob Archer reviewed and praised last year.
