Logitech, has announced its new Rally Board 65 and Logitech Spot unified communications solutions.
Looking at the Rally Board 65, the global electronics company states the product provides users with an all-in-one portable video conference solution that combines intelligent audio and video with a 65-inch touchscreen display. The company says its new conferencing solution is simple enough to roll on a cart into satellite offices, and sophisticated enough to pack a suite of AI-powered features, occupancy and environmental detection into traditional meeting rooms.
“Hybrid workers expect all spaces to be video-enabled and adaptable enough to collaborate on a moment’s notice, whether in an open space, traditional room, collaborative room or learning space,” comments Prakash Arunkundrum, chief operating officer and GM of Logitech for Business.
“So we asked ourselves: how can we create a smart, supremely sophisticated conferencing system, while drastically simplifying set up? The answer is Rally Board 65, a flexible solution that breaks the pattern of tech complexity that overwhelms companies.”
Rally Board 65 Offers Conferencing Flexibility
Logitech says the Rally Board 65, all-in-one video conferencing solution can be up and running within minutes in Android, PC, or BYOD mode, whether teams use Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or Google Meet. The global company suggests that all users need to do is roll Rally Board 65 on a cart into an open space and flip the device 180 degrees to orient the camera at eye level, or install it in a meeting room with the camera above or below the screen–all with very little IT support.

Building on its 4K video, Rally Board 65 comes loaded with AI-powered audio visual tech RightSight 2 and RightSound 2 that have become hallmarks of Logitech’s video bars. To further refine the experience, Camera Zone limits visual framing and Mic Zone minimizes sound pickup within a designated area. The new Depth Blur technique obscures surroundings, an effect similar to background blur people are accustomed to using on their desktops during video calls.
Spot Offers Convenient Solution to Communicate Conference Room Status
In addition to the launch of the Rally Board 65, Logitech introduced Logitech Spot, a workplace occupancy and environmental sensor the company says is simple to deploy in nearly any space. Packed with advanced sensors, Spot detects space occupancy to automate meeting room reservations and monitors environmental conditions to provide suggested actions to help companies improve workplace well-being and reduce energy costs.
Some examples of how the occupancy and environmental sensor works the company points out include if employees are falling asleep at work, it’s not always because the meeting is boring. In bustling workplaces, employees move in and out of scheduled or ad-hoc meetings in spaces that continuously use energy and recirculate air. Harvard and Berkeley studies show that office air with high carbon dioxide levels, and pollutants like dust, perfume, and aerosols are linked to lower cognitive function, illness and absenteeism.
“Businesses know that invisible productivity and energy killers exist, but seeing the actual numbers can be alarming,” says Prakash Arunkundrum, chief operating officer and GM, Logitech for Business. “Logitech Spot solves the mystery of the number of people using spaces, the quality of the air they’re breathing, and environmental factors that can impact energy consumption–arming businesses with the information they need to address these unseen barriers.”
According to the company, the battery-powered sensor can be installed wirelessly in seconds with a simple peel-and-stick to the wall and is suitable for standard rooms, phone booths, and flexible spaces. Offices can pair the Logitech via Bluetooth to any CollabOS device such as Tap Scheduler; or for rooms with no video conferencing technology, pair to a Long Range Wide Area Network (LoRaWan) gateway.
Logitech goes on to explain the sensor data is fed into Logitech Sync management portal for IT teams to see individual room performance or a snapshot across all rooms. Sync then calculates room Health and Energy Scores with specific suggestions, such as using a fan or reducing the number of people in the room when airflow is at less than optimal levels. In parallel, the presence detector uses radar to indicate whether rooms are occupied, and automatically books and releases rooms accordingly.
The company adds that Spot integrates with workspace management capabilities in Microsoft Places and Microsoft Teams, as well as workplace platforms Appspace, Metrikus, Samsung Smart Things Pro, Zoom Workspace Reservation, and Logitech Room Booking.
