Epson and Bose have come together on a projector the companies are saying is expected to hit the United States market in September 2025. Featuring Sound by Bose technology, the first product in the series has officially been finalized, according to Epson, and there are plans to further expand the lineup of products following the flagship launch.
“Through this partnership, we are combining our bright, vivid, and versatile projection technology with Bose’s custom-designed audio systems to realize the fusion of sound and visuals, setting a new standard for entertainment,” says Tomoo Takaso, chief operating officer of Epson’s Visual Products Operations Division.
According to the two companies, the products developed through this partnership will be distinguished by their ability to deliver high-quality audio tailored to a wide range of content and viewing needs, enhancing the overall visual experience of projectors. Working together, Epson and Bose combine Epson’s core strengths in compact, efficient, and precise projection technology with Bose‘s audio capabilities to offer a Sound by Bose, all-in-one solution that delivers an immersive audiovisual experience.
Epson and Bose point out they share a common goal of delivering greater value to customers. By integrating their respective technologies and expertise from different domains, the two companies assert they will continue to drive innovation.
“At Bose, we are dedicated to delivering incredible audio experiences – no matter where you’re listening. Working with Epson gives us the opportunity to combine breathtaking visuals with powerful sound to help people connect more deeply with their content and elevate home entertainment to the next level,” comments Nick Smith, president, audio technology business & chief strategy officer at Bose.
Epson adds that it will continue to create new value through co-creation with Bose, contributing to a more colorful lifestyle for customers.
The announcement follows the acquisition of McIntosh and Sonus faber brands by Bose in November 2024, which saw a strengthening of the company’s position in the luxury audio market after a high profile exit from the CI channel via the divesture of its professional division the year prior.
