With demand for big screen immersive entertainment on the rise home theater spaces are evolving to meet more viewing needs, leaving custom integrators with new challenges, including cost restrictions, smart system integration, specialized installation requirements, and various lighting environments.
Addressing these needs, Epson has introduced the Pro Cinema LS9000 4K HDR 3LCD Laser Projector. The company asserts that its latest product represents a breakthrough in price and performance in the 4K projector category, and it emphasizes the LS9000 offers a vibrant, detailed picture, with seamless integration into specialty home theater environments. The new projector will make its public debut during Audio Advice Live in Level 3: Hannover II, Governor’s Ballroom II from Aug. 1 – 3, 2025 in Raleigh, N.C.

A motorized lens system with powered zoom, focus and lens shift helps ensure precise, effortless installation, while smart home compatibility allows for seamless integration into advanced control systems – ideal for today’s connected home theaters.”
Pro Cinema LS9000 4K HDR 3LCD Laser Projector Blends into Smart Home Environments
Driven by Epson’s advanced video processing technologies, the new laser projector features the company’s proprietary 4K Display Technology with HDR10+, which it says delivers 8.29 million pixels for sharp, vibrant 4K UHD images. Engineered for seamless custom integration into a variety of smart home environments, the new LS9000 supports a wide range of AV sources and screen types connecting with popular IP control systems from companies such as Control4 and Crestron, and the PJLink protocol.
The new 4K laser projector is also powered by Epson’s ZX Picture Processor, and through its image processing capabilities, the popular manufacturer says the Pro Cinema LS9000 enables real-time frame interpolation and detail picture enhancement. Epson specifies the projector to produce up to 2,200 lumens of color (IDMS Rated) and white (ISO Rated) brightness levels, and it points out the projector incorporates a virtually maintenance-free 20,000-hour laser light source.
Additionally, supporting the laser projector’s use in a variety of home AV systems, Epson stresses the Pro Cinema LS9000 enables gaming up to 4K at 120 fps to make it a versatile solution for gaming, dedicated home theater and streaming activities.
News of the projector comes following the announcement of Epson’s recent partnership with Bose to include the latter’s audio technology in an all new line of Epson projectors, separate from the LS9000.
