Published: September 7, 2021

Recognizing the top applications for the company’s low-voltage lighting systems, the DMF Lighting Design Awards winners have officially been announced. Designed to celebrate unique lighting design projects, the first-ever DMF Design Awards feature entries showcasing some of the best lighting jobs from across the United States.

Projects are broken down into multiple categories, with one grand prize winner selected from the category winners. The contest entries were judged by five experts from the design-build and lighting design communities:

  • Richard Christensen, VP of Estate Homes, Magleby
  • Maureen Cohen, interior designer, Makawe Interiors
  • Mark Danesh, founder and president, DMF Lighting
  • Anne Kustner Haser, president, AKLD Lighting Design
  • Kami Rezai, founder and president, HiTech Design

Judges reviewed the entries based on four criteria (lighting application, lighting creativity, photography, and project summary) and their combined scores were used to determine the winner.

“Our goal is to recognize the innovative work of our dealers by featuring their installs in our communications,” says Ruslan Polinovsky, director of marketing at DMF Lighting. “We hope to inspire our network of integrators with the breadth of available DMF solutions by sharing a selection of original photography and compelling success stories.”

Here’s a quick rundown of each of the winning installations:
