Beyond highlighting a range of smart home features, the video will be part of a much broader consumer awareness campaign that the association has set up to drive attention to the custom integration industry at large, while also highlighting the value CEDIA-certified technology integrators hold when working with homeowners.

Campaign First Time CEDIA Has Set Its Sights on Consumer Awareness
In recent months, CEDIA has set its focus on advocacy through its meetings with congress members over tariffs in addition to its push for an broader access to spending options for technical training crucial to the home technology industry. This will be the first time CEDIA has developed a marketing campaign designed to draw consumer attention towards its members.
Part of the benefit CEDIA members will have regarding this video is that they can request a customized version of the ad with their company logo and website information added into it.
In a press release announcing the campaign, CEDIA has suggested that the video be used on websites, social media platforms, email campaigns, paid advertisements or even in customer presentations.
CEDIA will also offer a collection of supporting assets to its members that include a series of print ads, social media images and digital video clips. Video Will Factor into Broader Awareness Campaign for Industry
The initiative is part of a broader consumer awareness campaign CEDIA is running that includes media placement, SEO efforts and targeted advertisements on behalf of its members. For this reason, part of the campaign associated with the new video will also include the association running its own campaign targeting consumers throughout 2025.
