ADI | Snap One has announced the launch of its latest line of Episode Hybrid Amplifiers, aimed at addressing the growing demand for powerful, flexible audio solutions in both outdoor and indoor environments.
The newly redesigned models are available in 1200W and 2400W configurations and are intended to simplify installation, enhance customization, and support a broader range of audio applications across residential and commercial settings.
According to the company, the new Episode Hybrid Amps are specifically optimized for large-scale outdoor audio systems while maintaining the versatility required for high-performance indoor use. The amps support both 70V and 8-ohm operation, allowing integrators to mix and match speaker types and subwoofers. Compatible speakers include Episode’s Surroundscape and Radiance lines.
“Today’s end-users are no longer willing to sacrifice quality when it comes to outdoor entertainment—they want their outdoor audio systems to match the sound quality of their indoor setups,” says Michael Buratto, Director of Product Management for Episode Multi-Room Audio at Snap One.
“The new and improved Hybrid Amps are designed to meet this dual need, along with providing features that enhance versatility and simplify the installation and configuration process.”
In addition to offering higher power output than previous models, the new Hybrid Amps feature customizable DSP settings and a user-friendly interface, accessible via a web-based platform or through the amp’s high-resolution front panel display. Inputs and outputs are fully adjustable to accommodate a variety of source types and signal levels, including balanced, RCA analog, and digital coaxial inputs.
ADI | Snap One emphasizes that the amps were rigorously tested to ensure reliable performance in diverse application environments. The new units integrate into the company’s broader Outdoor Solutions Suite, which includes AV, lighting, and networking products.
