One Firefly, a marketing agency that caters to technology professionals in the residential and commercial custom integration markets, has announced that CEO Ron Callis has been appointed to the CEDIA Foundation Board.
The company points out that as part of this new chapter, it has also made a $1,000 donation to support the Foundation’s mission of recruiting, educating, and empowering the next generation of smart home professionals.
One Firefly explains the CEDIA Foundation plays a critical role in addressing workforce development challenges across the custom integration industry. Through its efforts, the Foundation provides accessible education, skills training, and professional support to help individuals build rewarding careers in smart home technology.

According to One Firefly, with more than 10,000 businesses actively seeking skilled smart home professionals and over 300 hours of educational content and CEU opportunities available through the Foundation, Callis’ involvement further strengthens the connection between industry leadership and workforce empowerment.
One Firefly’s $1,000 contribution will directly support the Foundation’s initiatives, including scholarships, training programs, and awareness campaigns to ensure that smart home technology education is accessible to all.
