L-Acoustics has officially opened its newly expanded Asia-Pacific regional headquarters in Singapore.

Since starting its APAC operations in Singapore in 2019, L-Acoustics has grown to a 28-person team. With the new headquarters, L-Acoustics states company gains not just production capacity but also a central hub to host clients and partners working on touring shows, festivals, theaters, houses of worship, premium hospitality venues and other immersive-audio projects.

The new 9,000-square-foot facility includes a fully dedicated L-Acoustics Creative Studio, purpose-built for spatial audio production using its L-ISA immersive sound technology.

The studio itself spans about 505 square feet and is equipped with a three-dimensional array of 23 L-Acoustics speakers. According to L-Acoustics, the space is designed to support artists, DJs, sound designers and content creators as they explore, mix and produce spatially rich audio content.

Tim Zhou, CEO of the APAC region for L-Acoustics, said the studio is more than a demo space, instead, calling it a creative production environment that allows APAC creators to collaborate closely with L-Acoustics specialists.

Additional leadership at the grand opening included co-CEOs Laurent Vaissié and Hervé Guillaume, as well as Chief People Officer Anne Hamlett.

This new APAC hub joins L-Acoustics’ other major centers in Paris, Los Angeles and London, following an announcement earlier in the year on the launch of a centralized Real Estate division led by Gérald Yven.

Since starting its APAC operations in Singapore in 2019, L-Acoustics has grown to a 28-person team.
