KEF is continuing its partnership with Haier in providing the immersive audio for smart TVs. This is the second round of collaborations with Haier by KEF since working with the company’s Casarte appliance brand back in November 2024.
This time around, Haier and KEF will jointly engineer the audio systems for Haier’s latest Mini LED and QLED TV models, including the Haier TV M96, M92, M80 and S90 series, with the models will be launching throughout 2025.
Under this partnership, the sound systems of these Mini LED and QLED TV series have been meticulously tuned by the same KEF engineering team responsible for their flagship loudspeakers, including Blade and The Reference and Leverage KEF’s over 60 years of acoustic engineering expertise.
The Haier M96 series of 4K QD-Mini LED TVs will run a 2.2.2-channel audio system for the 75-inch and 85-inch models, and an impressive 6.2.2-channel system for the 100-inch model, while the Haier M80 series of 4K Mini LED TVs will sport a 2.1-channel speaker system across 85-, 75-, 65-, and 55-inch models.
The downside is that Casarte distribution is a little bit more limited in the U.S., so getting your hands on one of these new TVs might be a little bit on the challenging side.
