At the CEDIA Expo 2022 show in Dallas this Sept. 29 to Oct. 1, the home technology company Savant will show a range of smart home products that underscore its commitment to the homes of today and tomorrow.
The Cape Cod-based company emphasizes that not only is it show a variety of products that support current market trends, but it will also showcase emerging products and technologies that will foster the next generation of smart homes.
Moreover, ensuring its dealers the ability to design and install these products and solutions, Savant will provide show attendees with a full schedule of training opportunities available that will run throughout the expo.
The East Coast manufacturer will display its new Home Back-Up & Restore service. This cloud-based subscription stores key settings and other information that are important to each homeowners’ unique home system programming.
Some of the other items that the company will highlight in its booth (#21057) include the Savant Home Manager, which it says will be available in October 2022, and a trio of new next-generation technologies: Savant Intercom, Secure Voice Control and Smart Networking. These new solutions will be available in early 2023.
The Massachusetts company explains its Intercom service provides homeowners with room-to-room communications throughout their properties without the need for intercom hardware. According to the company, Savant Intercom Service can be added to any smart home with a Savant Essentials subscription.
The Secure Voice Control platform offers users a natural language that employs offline processing of voice commands via hands-free in-room microphones and push-to-talk options on the company’s Pro Remote X2. Like the Savant Intercom technologies, the voice control service from the smart home company requires an Essentials subscription.
Rounding out the popular smart home company’s trio of next-generation solutions, the soon-to-be-released Savant Network AI will be delivered in conjunction with Juniper Networks.
The global networking company is working with Savant to provide dealers with customized, state-of-the-art enterprise-grade network systems that are said to be easy to install and troubleshoot.

The networks will include automated device discovery, dynamic port configuration and network optimization using advanced algorithms. Savant Network AI will also include machine learning analysis of homeowners’ networking experiences. Savant Network AI will require a scalable subscription that is based on the size of the network.
