This year Stealth will update all of its invisible speaker models to the new LineaRadiance family. LineaRadiance speakers leverage over 20 years and seven generations of knowledge and experience featuring advanced internal components, fit-and-finish upgrades, a new integrated frame and backbox system with a new look and feel, and even higher performance.
As part of the upgrade from the 6th and 7th gen LineaResponse line to the fully redesigned 8th gen LineaRadiance line, the speaker panels have increased in size from 16” × 22” to 16” × 24”. Why 24”? This creates additional surface area for the FidelityGlass™ front radiating diaphragm, more air space between the woofer and the diaphragm, and more air space within the new integrated back box, all of which increase audio performance.
An 8” 2-way speaker has been a core part of Stealth’s invisible speaker product line since the beginning of the company. From the foundational, first-generation Model 228 launched with the company in 2003, to the F-Series, and on through the current LineaResponse LR8G, this incredibly popular speaker has led the invisible speaker market! This summer, the 8” 2-Way model steps up to the 8th generation as the LineaRadiance LR224!
Based on the 8” 2-way platform, Stealth launched an industry first, single-panel stereo invisible speaker in 2007 (now the SLR8G) and the high-performance 3-Way speaker (LRX-83) in 2017, which will upgrade this summer to the LR224S and LR324 models. Additionally, the compact dual-8” subwoofer system (B22g) will become the LR24W and join the quad-8” subwoofer, the LR30W.
Ultimately, LineaRadiance speakers will feature nine models, compact to luxury performance, with accessories to meet the audio needs of nearly any project.
