PoEWit Technologies, a manufacturer of PoE lighting, PoE motion detectors and custom AV networking components, has introduced its new WP-4 Wall Pack.
The Fla.-based company states that its latest product is a cloud-controlled, PoE powered networked outdoor lighting solution. PoEWit Technologies says its new WP-4 Wall Pack is a dimmable LED lighting solution that is designed to be bright enough to allow nearby security cameras to record in a high definition color resolution at night.
According to the company, the Wall Pack LED lighting product has a selectable correlated color temperature (CCT) of 2,700K to 6,500K, and it can be controlled with a companion app that is easy to use.
PoEWit explains the low-voltage WP-4 Wall Pack can be utilized with security systems to be triggered by motion detection outputs from motion sensors and security cameras, as well as alarm outputs and NC/NO contacts. To help the outdoor lighting product withstand the rigors of outdoor environments the Wall Pack is IP65-rated through its weatherproof housing, and it features a commercial-grade, impact-resistant polycarbonate lens that will not yellow as it ages.
To further ensure its performance in 24/7 lighting installations, the company adds that integrators can combine the WP-4 Wall Pack with its cloud-controlled uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) and cloud-controlled PoE network switches.
