Samsung continues to pour into the home theater category at CES 2026, as, alongside a new lineup of RGB TVs, the company is introducing several new audio devices including two new soundbars and a set of Wi-Fi speakers for the Music Studio Line.
Music Studio 7 and 5 Speakers
Samsung is introducing two entirely new wireless speakers in the form of the Music Studio 5 and Music Studio 7 for 2026. According to Samsung, these new speakers are meant to add to the range of options available when building a sound system off Samsung products. Beyond that, these new speakers also introduce a striking, modern design, courtesy of designer Erwan Bouroullec.
On the hardware side, the Music Studio 7 (LS70H) delivers 3.1.1 spatial audio with left, front, right, and top-firing speakers supporting hi-res audio up to 24-bit/96kHz. Advanced Pattern Control Technology prevents channel overlap.
The Music Studio 5 (LS50H), meanwhile, leverages a 4-inch woofer and dual tweeters with a built-in waveguide for “clear, balanced sound,” according to Samsung. Wi-Fi streaming, voice control, and Bluetooth allow for flexible integration into multi-room setups.
Both models can either be used as standalone speakers or incorporated with other Samsung TV, soundbar or speaker products via Samsung’s Q-Symphony platform. AI Dynamic Bass Control also ensures each speaker can achieve deep, distortion-free lows, per Samsung.
New Q-Series Soundbars
Alongside the Music Studio set, two new soundbars are to be expected in 2026, with the HW-Q990H acting a full-fledged audio system, while the HW-QS90H is meant to be an All-in-One solution.
Samsung’s flagship HW-Q990H soundbar features a 11.1.4-channel audio system that combines a 7.0.2 main bar, 4.0.2 rear speakers, and dual 8-inch active subwoofers to create the full setup. Debuting with this particular model are what Samsung is calling Sound Elevation and Auto Volume technologies, the former of which is designed to “shift” audio towards the center of the screen while the latter helps to maintain consistent volume across channels and content.
The HW-QS90H All-in-One Soundbar, meanwhile offers 7.1.2 channels with 13 drivers and a built-in Quad Bass Woofer. Its flexible design supports wall or tabletop placement, while an integrated gyro sensor adapts channel distribution for optimal room acoustics.
Added Wireless Connectivity to Samsung TVs
Along with the new hardware, Samsung has also updated its Q-Symphony platform, enabling up to five sound devices to sync with a Samsung TV, automatically calibrating for room acoustics and allowing control and management to be done through the SmartThings app.
These updates follow Samsung’s Sound Tower models (ST50F and ST40F) launched in late 2025.
