Lucetta CI announced it will be stepping up its commitment to the custom integration channel recently with the introduction of a custom-built brand made specifically for custom integrators.
What’s Part of the Lucetta CI Launch
The new Lucetta CI lineup introduces a set of linear lighting solutions that includes tape light, flexible and rigid linear systems, profiles, drivers, controls and accessories that Lucetta says have been engineered specifically for integration projects, being compatible with leading automation platforms and supported by accessible technical resources.
In speaking on the launch, Rob Doherty, Director of Business Development, Custom Integration at Lucetta CI, said, “We built Lucetta CI to set a new standard for what integrators should expect from a lighting partner.”
Exact details of the products have not been revealed yet. In a press release announcing the new lineup, Lucetta states each solution is focused on supporting clean installations, reliable performance and an enhanced environment.
Additional Resources and Support
With the new products, Lucetta states it is also expanding its resources and support for integrators that includes a complete refresh of its online portal. The update is intended to streamline navigation, simplify ordering and provide clear, comprehensive product information to support a more efficient workflow from planning through installation.
Additionally, Lucetta is rolling out a comprehensive catalog and an experienced support team to provide expertise and guidance for integrators working on projects.
Linear Lighting in Custom Integration
In its 2025 Deep Dive into the lighting control segment, CE Pro found that, among integrators, linear lighting and tape lighting continue to be the most popular fixtures used by integrators with manufacturers also noting that the fixtures serve as a great entry point into the lighting category.
Indeed, within the custom integration channel, linear lighting has become a common fixture among many top projects, with a select few integrators having made the claim that one day linear lighting will replace all forms of lighting in the home.
While the jury remains out on that assertion, that hasn’t stopped CI mainstays like Blackwire Designs from developing custom-built solutions for linear lighting projects like its Linear Lighting Design software.
Whether it be for performance or profits, linear lighting has become a staple of many custom integrators’ portfolios, with the providers of such solutions being the ones the reap the most business.
