Kwikset, a manufacturer of residential security solutions, and a registered trademark of ASSA ABLOY Americas Residential Inc., an ASSA ABLOY Group Company, has introduced its Miranda Levers and a matching handleset collection of products.
According to Kwikset, the Mirada Levers features a distinctive reeded handle that delivers visual elegance and tactile refinement. The company points out the product line features a modern form and intricate detailing that offers a statement for today’s design-conscious homeowner. The Mirada Levers are available in a variety of functions—keyed entry, passage, privacy and dummy—and can also be purchased as a front door set with the Kwikset San Clemente handleset and deadbolt. The company suggests dealers can use it for applications such as entryways, bedrooms, hallways, closets and more.

The keyed entry lever and handleset Miranda Levers feature Kwikset’s SmartKey Security technology, which protects against advanced break-in techniques and allows homeowners to re-key locks in seconds. The collection also offers Microban antimicrobial protection on select finishes, which keeps the surface 99.9% cleaner than unprotected hardware, which Kwikset notes is an added benefit for high-touch areas of the home.
Entry, privacy (bedrooms/bathrooms) and passage (hallways /closets) products all include Kwikset’s proprietary chassis with dual compression springs, which the company says, keeps the Miranda Levers straight and wobble-free over time. Kwikset emphasizes that all the Miranda Levers are reversible to fit left- or right-handed doors and can be installed in minutes with a standard screwdriver. The handleset includes a low- profile deadbolt and a fully adjustable throughbolt to accommodate a variety of door preps.
Kwikset also offers the product line in finishes that include satin nickel and satin brass, as well as matte black, and a two-toned matte black with a satin brass option. Kwikset adds that like other Signature Series products, the Mirada Levers meet ANSI/BHMA Grade AAA standards for security, durability and finish.
