At CEDIA Expo/CIX 2025, JVC is spotlighting its latest home theater projector lineup, headlined by the DLA-NZ700, positioned as the smallest native 4K laser projector available, and the higher-end DLA-NZ900, which incorporates the company’s exclusive 8K/e-shiftX processing.
The DLA-NZ700, also available as the DLA-RS2200 in the Reference Series, delivers a 35% reduction in footprint compared to previous models, making it well-suited for installations with limited space. The projector features JVC’s proprietary 0.69-inch native 4K D-ILA devices, BLU-Escent laser technology with a rated brightness of 2,300 lumens and a 20,000-hour light source lifespan.
It offers an 80,000:1 native contrast ratio, wide color gamut reproduction with the Cinema Filter, and a new Vivid Picture Mode for saturated SDR content. These features aim to optimize HDR performance on a scene-by-scene basis, while the fully motorized 80mm lens and redesigned airflow system provide flexible installation options. Pricing is $9,999.95.
The DLA-NZ900 builds on these capabilities with third-generation 4K D-ILA devices, JVC’s 8K/e-shiftX technology, and an upgraded BLU-Escent laser light source rated at 3,300 lumens. It features a 100mm all-glass motorized lens, 150,000:1 native contrast ratio, 3D compatibility, and second-generation dynamic tone mapping. Designed for enthusiasts seeking top-tier image fidelity, the DLA-NZ900 is designed for large-screen installations where maximum resolution and brightness are critical.
Both models support HDR10 and HDR10+ formats, feature Clear Motion Drive for smooth motion handling, and include HDMI inputs supporting 32Gbps data rates and BT.2020 compatibility. JVC positions these projectors for integrators and homeowners seeking high-end visual performance, with the DLA-NZ700 offering a more compact, accessible option and the DLA-NZ900 catering to the most demanding home theater applications.
