RTI, a popular brand of control and automation solutions, has announced the ISR-AB Advanced Base, a solution the company says is the first-ever remote charging base to offer a built-in Wi-Fi access point, programmable control buttons, and a Find-My-Remote feature is now available.
In addition to charging RTI’s ISR remotes, the Advanced Base incorporates a host of features that are headlined by the inclusion of a dedicated Wi-Fi access point, three fully programmable buttons, and a Find-My-Remote feature. According to RTI, all homeowners need to do to use the Find-My-Remote option is touch a button on the base to trigger an audible alert from the remote.
The ISR-AB also features a stylish design suited to any décor. A subtle LED light ring illuminates in set colors, corresponding to different modes of operation. The RTI ISR-AB, RTI asserts, enables integrators to deliver a customizable smart home experience suited to individual client requests.

ISR-AB Advanced Base Complements RTI Remote Control Products
RTI says the ISR-AB Advanced Base can be used with remotes like its ISR-4 model. This remote features a 4-inch high-definition touchscreen the company says delivers a smartphone-like experience with enough space for cover art, camera feeds, and lighting controls. The remote also incorporates customizable soft keys that enable scene selection, while soft-touch backlit buttons and a 5-way thumb pad.
The ISR-AB Advanced Base also works with the ISR-2 remote control. RTI points out this remote balances a 2.8-inch touchscreen with a numeric keypad for seamless media system control. The ISR-4 and ISR-2 each feature real-time haptic feedback for precise, tactile responsiveness.
Both remotes incorporate advanced Wi-Fi technology for reliable connectivity, built-in accelerometers for instant activation when picked up, and ambient light sensors that automatically adjust display brightness. Smart power management delivers four-to-five days battery life for the ISR-4 and six-to-seven days for the ISR-2.
