Hunter Douglas has launched the Pinnacle Dealer Partner Program, a new partnership structure building off prior pro channel support aimed at simplifying dealer engagement and standardizing benefits across its custom window treatment channel.
The program eliminates participation fees, introduces eight volume-based tiers, and consolidates dealer support into a single framework. According to the company, the changes were developed directly in response to dealer feedback around complexity and administrative burden.
Pinnacle Program Structure and Tier Model
In the new Pinnacle Program, dealers will be placed into one of eight tiers based on prior-year bookings for Hunter Douglas custom window treatments. As they move up through the tiers, they will gain access to increasingly competitive pricing, enhanced support, exclusive recognition opportunities and broader marketing tools.
A new Dealer Success Allowance will also be provided in lieu of prior support programs, which Hunter Douglas states aims to consolidate those prior initiatives in the interest of resolving dealer issues quickly while minimizing administrative burden.
The big highlight, however, is the elimination of participation fees.
“We heard loud and clear that dealers wanted fewer barriers to participation,” said Maren Gehling, Director of Sales, Custom Home & Integration Strategic Partnerships.
“By eliminating participation fees, we’re making it easier for partners of all sizes to engage with the program, unlock value, and grow their business from day one.”
Aditionally, Hunter Douglas noted that dealers participating in the Pinnacle Program will also have access to Alta Window Fashions, a long-standing brand within its portfolio.
Alta offers a more focused assortment positioned for budget-sensitive projects or secondary spaces, providing dealers with additional flexibility while remaining within the Pinnacle framework.
Rollout and Future Plans
Dealers will receive ongoing tier and performance communications through their Business Development Managers and via email leading up to final tier confirmations in January.
Following the release of the Pinnacle Program, Hunter Douglas will also be rolling out the Pinnacle Excellence Program in Q2 of 2026. Details are scant on it now, but, in the release, Hunter Douglas described the program as being “a new performance and development framework that evaluates dealers on operational excellence, engagement, and growth, not volume alone.”
The program will ultimately support rankings, coaching, certifications, and recognition initiatives.
