Coastal Source says it will debut new finish and fixture options for its EVO outdoor lighting system at Lightapalooza 2026, scheduled for Feb. 16–19 in Austin, Texas, where the company will exhibit at Booth #237.
According to Coastal Source, the EVO system was introduced in 2024 as a next-generation outdoor lighting platform designed for use in residential and commercial environments. The company says the fixtures are constructed from solid brass and engineered to withstand harsh outdoor conditions while delivering higher light output and wider beam spreads than traditional MR16 fixtures.
“EVO established a new standard for rugged, high performance outdoor lighting when it was introduced in 2024,” says Franco D’Ascanio, founder and CEO of Coastal Source. He adds that the system was designed to deliver strong illumination with reduced glare for applications such as pathways, architectural accents, and outdoor living spaces.
At Lightapalooza 2026, Coastal Source says it will introduce new finish options for the EVO line, including Vintage Brass, Black, White, and Nickel. The company also says the system can be customized using interchangeable shrouds, hats, and lenses, allowing lighting designers to adapt fixtures to different design requirements.
Coastal Source reports that EVO incorporates its Plug+Play technology to streamline installation, along with integrated CREE LED modules intended to provide energy-efficient operation. According to the company, the LED modules can be replaced without removing the brass fixture, which it says can reduce maintenance time and material waste over the life of the system.
The company describes EVO as a modular lighting platform offering multiple dispersion options, including directional and 360-degree illumination. Coastal Source says the system’s range of accessories enables deployment across softscapes, hardscapes, pathways, trees, and architectural elements while maintaining a consistent visual profile.
According to Coastal Source, EVO has received several industry awards, including a 2024 CEDIA Best of Show Award, a 2024 CE Pro BEST Award, a 2024 CEDIA Smart Home Award, and a 2025 Technology Designer Performance Home Award. The company says the system is backed by a five-year manufacturer’s warranty.
